Inner Freedom

Your mind creates and receives thoughts all the time. Sometimes these thoughts are positive and some may be negative.

These thoughts may also lead to worry, unhappiness and fear. When this happens, there is no peace of mind. When there is no peace of mind you do not have inner freedom.

You may live in a free country, yet you may not be free. Real freedom means to be above thoughts. It means becoming the master of your mind. It is being able to think and accept into your mind only the thoughts of your choice, and when there is no need to think, you just stop thinking.

You switch off the engine of your car when you arrive to your destination, because there is no necessity for it to keep on running. Why not do the same with the mind (relaxing the mind)?

Imagine a state when your mind is calm. In this state you become conscious of your inner self and know who you are. You feel your inner power.

With the help of concentration, meditation, detachment, calmness, and the ability to filter and sift thoughts, without getting involved and swept by them, it is possible to reach and live in real and true freedom.

The Power of 48 Minutes

Is there magic in the number 48? Does this number hold anysignificance in your future success? Speaker Don Crowther suggeststhat there is. He says that 48 minutes is the magic number. When the timer goes off, get up andstretch, get coffee, use the restroom etc, in the following 12minutes. Repeat as necessary.

Don reports that this technique repeated four times a day allowed himto write a 200 page book in just two weeks. The ability to focus onone task for 48 minutes straight was the key. This method eliminatesthe distractions that have a way of derailing even the best laidplans. Taking a short 12 minute break once an hour is refreshing butnot enough to get you off track. Try it!

What goes around comes around

One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he up led up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.. Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.

He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.

He said, 'I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.'
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.
As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.
Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, 'And think of me.'
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan .
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.
There were tears in her eyes when she read w hat the lady wrote: 'You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.'
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard....
She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, 'Everything' s going to be all right. I love you, Bryan Anderson.'
'What goes around comes around.'

Feeling Successful

The key to being successful is that you have to FEEL successful in your day to day life. Call it "fake it til you make it" if you like – but it works – just try it.

Most of us fall into the trap of thinking that we will be successful WHEN we achieve something. "I'll be successful when I make my first million.""I won't consider myself a success until I get my MBA." You must stop defining success as something that happens in the future. If you define success as a future event - you are, by definition, saying that you are not a success right now!

That kind of thinking does not help and constitutes to negative self enforcement. So instead, act as if you have already achieved your goal. Feel thankful for getting what you have set out to get.

By Feeling Successful, you program your mind to Be Successful. So Start Feeling Successful NOW.

Personal Limits

Is there someone in your life who is hindering your growth? Think about it. Who is that person? Well, there is only ONE person that is capable to set limits to your Growth and Success: it is YOU.

You are the only person who can revolutionize your life. You are theonly person who can influence your happiness, your realization and your success. You are the only person who can help yourself.Your life does not change when your boss changes, when your friendschange, when your partner changes, when your company changes.Your life changes when YOU change, when you go beyond your limitingbeliefs, when you realize that you are the only one responsible for your life.

"The most important relationship you can have, is the one you have with yourself." Don't be afraid of difficulties, impossibilities and losses: be a winner, build yourself and your reality.

Let’s Have a Cup of Coffee

Let’s Have a Cup of Coffee
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university professor. Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life.
Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups - porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help themselves to hot coffee..
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the professor said: "If you noticed, all the nice looking expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. It is, but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress.
What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and were eyeing each other's cups.

Now if life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold Life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it." So, don't let the cups drive you... enjoy the coffee instead.
Enjoy Life!
